The revamped fee system includes a marginal 6% fee for listings sold for less than $120, setting a new standard with one of the lowest rates in the market. This adjustment replaces the previous 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission fees, creating a more lucrative scenario for sellers to make the most out of their sales.
One of the most favorable aspects of this change is that sellers will now earn the same amount on sales of $120 or more as they did previously. Under this new structure, sellers have the potential to earn up to a whopping 94% of the listing price on sales below $119.99, which is a significant increase compared to the previous maximum of 85%. In order to uphold a fair and competitive environment, listings priced more than 20% above fair market value will incur a slightly higher 15% seller’s fee as opposed to the standard 6%. Additionally, the removal of the previous $3 minimum fee for Buy Now sales enables sellers to list items for as little as 50 cents, catering to a wide range of pricing preferences.
